Versatile tool for fitting the Rubber Engine Mounting Bushs in the Engine Swing Arm Pivots of all Vespa engines. Especially with hold-down function for caulking the wideframe holding plates.
The installation of the silentblocs in wideframe Suspension Arm is carried out by caulking or welding the lateral Holding Plates as the final step. If you do not have a suitable hold-down device or a sufficiently large vice, you will quickly reach your limits without this tool from the SIP tool line.
Convenient caulking or welding of the wideframe traverse sleeve

High-quality workmanship and robust quality
The SIP hold-down device for caulking the wideframe crossbar sleeve with the side sheet metal washers enables the final step of the Rubber Engine Mounting Bush replacement to be carried out properly and carefully. The two adapter sleeves supplied are recommended for the smaller/older Rubber Engine Mounting Bushs on VN and GS Vespas. Rubber Engine Mounting Bushs from other models can also be easily fitted using the SIP Tool. Large nuts from a ratchet box can often be inserted into the adapter sleeves as a pressing tool. This means that PX, Rally and Smallframe Rubber Engine Mounting Bushs can also be pressed into the Engine Swing Arm Pivot.
The importance of Rubber Engine Mounting Bushs should not be underestimated: Vibrations and cracking in the bodywork, directional stability, riding safety and riding comfort depend largely on them.
