Information on cookies

We use cookies and similar tools to enhance your shopping experience and to enable your purchases in the first place. This includes the use of cookies from the following providers:

Functional cookies

This cookie analyses activity on the EdgeCloud network and persists cache data necessary for Cloudflare. This data contains information about visitors and users of domains, networks, websites and application interfaces ("APIs"). This metadata contains extremely limited personal data. (Retention time: 1 hour)

Country Cookies
Country cookies are used to detect the user's country and display information in the shop according to that country, such as product selection or shipping terms. (Retention time: 1 year)

User session cookie
The user session cookie can be used to assign several requests of a user on our site to his or her session. User session cookies do not collect any information to identify the user, but only a session ID. This means that the shop can be opened in several windows at the same time, for example, without the contents of the shopping basket differing. (Retention period: 1 year)

XSRF token cookie
The XSRF token cookie ensures that cross side scripting is prevented. This means that a user's form data and sessions are linked together to prevent cyber attacks and possibly theft of user data. (Retention period: 1 year)

Cookie Consent Status
The Cookie Consent Status records whether and which cookies the user has confirmed with the Cookie Modal. It also records the active confirmation of the user. (Retention period: 4 weeks)

PayPal / Braintree
This cookie allows PayPal to store relevant information about users in their browser or on their device and to read this information later. PayPal uses both session cookies and persistent cookies that help improve performance and enable additional functionality. The storage period is up to 20 years.

Cookies for statistics and market analysis

Hotjar cookies are used to analyse users' website activity, this includes location data, navigation and click behaviour. The insights gained are used to make adjustments and optimise the user experience. The cookie data is stored for one year.

Google Analytics
Google Analytics is used to analyse website traffic. Statistics about website activities can be created and read out. The cookie must always be agreed to, otherwise it is inactive. The collected data is stored for 2 years.

Google Ads / Adwords
Google Ads cookies also record the website activities of users for up to 2 years. This data can be used to improve the user experience, e.g. by adapting content or displaying personalised offers.

Google Marketing Platform
The GMP cookie is used to ensure that ads relevant to the user can be displayed. At the same time, it prevents more ads from being displayed. Google receives information through the integration that the ad was clicked on or that the user was on our website.

Google Ads Conversion Tracking
With the help of Google Ads Conversion Tracking, we can determine how successful individual advertising measures are. It can also be used to place personalised ads. The data is stored for 30 days.

Matomo (formerly Piwik)
The Matomo cookie is used for web analysis, to record activities on websites and stores the IP address of the site user. The advantage of Matomo is that the data remains with the website operator. The data is stored for 13 months and it needs the consent of the cookies for marketing purposes to be activated.

The use of cookies in affiliate marketing ensures that the affiliate partner receives his commission even if the customer does not buy immediately but a few days later. The duration of the cookies is usually up to 90 days.

Pinterest retargeting pixel
With the help of the pixel, information about the surfing behaviour of website visitors can be collected, stored and evaluated in pseudonymised form. Personal data is processed in order to display personalised advertising and product recommendations.

Pinterest tag conversion tracking
If the user is redirected from a Pin on Pinterest to pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, certain user actions predefined by us are recorded and can thus be tracked. The data is deleted after 180 days.

Google Ads Remarketing
Our website uses the functions of Google Ads Remarketing. This allows us to advertise this website in the SERPs. The cookie set enables Google to serve interest-based advertising to the user.

Facebook Pixel
We use this cookie because we integrate the services of Facebook. By analysing the users' activities, they are shown personalised advertising. This cookie is only active with the consent to marketing cookies. The storage period of the data is 3 months.

To monitor the technical stability of our shop, we use the Sentry service. Sentry enables the monitoring of system stability and improves the identification of errors in the code. The service is used exclusively for these purposes and does not evaluate data for advertising purposes. The duration of the cookies is one year.
