Standard exhaust systems for Vespa Smallframe - classic replacement in original look for everyday use, restoration and mild roadtuning.
A Vespa Exhaust has to put up with a lot over the years: rust inside and out, sooting or even cracks. At the latest when performance and appearance visibly deteriorate, it is worth changing it - because a fresh Exhaust gets the Engine running cleanly again and also looks better.
- Classic original look for an authentic look
- Suitable for everyday use & durable with good ground clearance
- Also suitable for mild roadtuning
Standard exhaust systems are available for almost all smallframe models - from the V50 to the PK XL2. Installation is generally possible on 50 and 125 cc models, as elongated holes on the manifold screw connection can be used and the Exhaust can be tilted over the swingarm mounting bracket. Important: Too much tension due to "bending to fit" often leads to the well-known manifold fractures - it is therefore worth choosing the right model.
The fit and intended use differ depending on the manufacturer and design: Some systems fit 50cc models particularly well, others are more suitable for 125cc models or require adjustment. There are also variants such as ECO versions with a thicker Exhaust Manifold or Classic models with a high-quality surface treatment.
Standard exhaust systems are not only intended for original engines, but also work with small roadtuning setups (e.g. 75 cc). They are not designed for speed excesses, but score points with the typical advantages: original look, good ground clearance, durability suitable for everyday use and usually moderate consumption.
Conclusion: Ideal for restorations and everyday use - and a solid basis for discreet bike tuning.
SIP-TIP:
- Order a new Exhaust Manifold Stub incl. matching Gasket at the same time.
