The Variokit from SIP PERFORMANCE stands for optimum torque and promises more than just riding pleasure.
Alongside the Cylinder and Crankshaft, the Variomatic is the heart of every automatic engine. It not only determines shifting behavior and torque, but also has a significant influence on the smooth running and top speed of CVT-powered engines. By replacing the standard variator with the SIP PERFORMANCE sports variator kit, you can quickly achieve a noticeably better power output and improved pulling power from the scooter.
- Perfectly matched to the GTS Engine
- High-quality workmanship
- Weight saving of around 13
The Vario kit for the GTS 250/310 is perfectly matched to the Engine. Not only the selection of weights and the Contrast Spring, but also the running surface angles of the Variomatic and V-Belt Pulley have been specially adapted to the requirements of the PIAGGIO Quasar/HPE Engine.
Especially in combination with the SIP PERFORMANCE Driven Pulley, it was possible to achieve an excellent power output and optimum shifting behavior of the Vario drive.
Thanks to the extremely high-quality workmanship of all components of the SIP PERFORMANCE Vario, the service life and durability are significantly longer than those of conventional variators. In addition, the finely balanced, CNC-machined vario and V-Belt Pulley mean less strain on the Engine and ensure smoother running.
A striking and not insignificant point is the weight saving of around 13% compared to the original component. SIP Vario, Slide, Calotte, V-Belt Pulley and Bushes together weigh approx. 834 g, the corresponding PIAGGIO original parts approx. 965 g. As the SIP Variomatic is around 130 g lighter than the standard Variomatic, weighed without Vario rollers, stressed engine components such as the Crankshaft and bearing bushes are also subjected to slightly less stress.

We recommend - the SIP-TIP:
- To fine-tune the vario, it should be spaced outusing the Spacers
- Optimum results in terms of acceleration and top speed in conjunction with the SIP PERFORMANCE Driven Pulley
- A new Belt does no harm
