Overview
The Vespa GTS 300 has undergone regular changes since its market launch in 2005. the next generation of the series followed in 2008 and 2009 with the Super/Sport models. With a displacement of 278 cc and 21 hp, the GTS 300 was the top model and featured darkened Headlight Units, analogue instruments and a Seat with white piping. The Super Sport had a matt paint finish, black rims, red shock absorber springs and a Sport Seat.
Model history
At the end of 2014, Piaggio presented the new Vespa GTS model series (GTS 300 cc / GTS Super 125-300 cc). Differences to the previous model include a modified speedometer with digital speed display, LED Indicators with daytime running light function, a chrome-framed Rear Light, a larger Helmet Case and a new Seat. On the technical side, the most significant innovation was the front suspension, which was optionally available with ABS/ASR, giving the chassis improved handling and more riding comfort. The GTS 300 cc was also available as a touring version with chrome-plated folding luggage racks and a Flyscreen as standard.
The Italian manufacturer took almost five years to update the range until Piaggio decided to update the series in 2023. The manufacturer achieved a milestone with the Vespa GTS 300 HPE version. The most powerful Vespa to date had a displacement of 300 cc, 24 hp and reached a top speed of 120 km/h with 26 Nm. But how did Piaggio achieve this? Visually, it remained true to its predecessor apart from a few details such as a slightly modified Horn Cover. However, new Cylinder Heads with better Camshafts were installed in the model, which were not only quieter, but also produced less exhaust fumes and were more fuel-efficient. This revised engine was christened the "High Performance Engine", or HPE for short.

Equipped with an exclusive 4.3-inch TFT colour display, the Vespa GTS Super Tech provides instant and easy-to-read riding information. The Vespa MIA package, which comes as standard on this Model, enables a seamless connection between smartphone and scooter and unlocks functions that further enhance the riding experience. A GPS navigator is also included in the scope of delivery. The Vespa GTS and GTS Super can be retrofitted with the Vespa MIA connectivity system.
