Overview Vespa GTS 300 Touring

In 2008, Piaggio launched the Vespa GTS 300 i.e. Super with a 278 cc Engine, which not only underwent a technical but also a visual redesign. The changes included black-painted rims, a more angular Front Cover without parking lights, a darkened Headlight Unit, analogue instruments, no Luggage Carrier as standard and a Seat with a white border. From 2009, the model was also offered with a 124 cc injection engine as the Vespa GTS 125 i.e. Super. Another variant, the GTS Touring, is characterised by a short windscreen and a front carrier and is equipped exclusively with the 278 cc Engine.

Model history of the Vespa GTS 300 Touring

In 2014, the Touring version of the most powerful Vespa series was modernised in Milan. The model features a raised Wind Shield, which offers riders protection from the airstream. The storage options are versatile, with space for luggage at the front, rear or under the Seat. The blue illuminated instrument panel with LCD display shows Piaggio's endeavour to combine advanced technology with classic design, while upholding traditional values. Modern features such as a USB interface, LED technology and ABS and traction control as standard round off the equipment. This Touring version is powered by a 300 cc 4-valve, 4-stroke single-cylinder engine with electronic injection, which delivers a maximum output of 22 hp at 7500 rpm and a torque of 22.3 Nm.
