In 2008, Piaggio launched the Vespa GTS 300 i.e. Super with a 278 cc Engine, which not only underwent a technical but also a visual redesign. The changes included black-painted rims, a more angular Front Cover without parking lights, a darkened Headlight Unit, analogue instruments, no Luggage Carrier as standard and a Seat with a white border. From 2009, the model was also offered with a 124 cc injection engine as the Vespa GTS 125 i.e. Super. Another variant, the GTS Touring, is characterised by a short windscreen and a front carrier and is equipped exclusively with the 278 cc Engine.
Whether travelling alone or as a couple, the classic, chrome-plated folding luggage rack at the rear, together with the spacious and secure Tray under the Seat, offered plenty of space for luggage. The Vespa GTS Touring from 2021 was available in the colours red Vignola and green Bosco. The high-tech engine technology left nothing to be desired in terms of performance and power delivery. Special details of the Vespa GTS Touring included the brown Seat Cover and the chrome-plated model emblem on the glove compartment. Fully equipped with LED technology, its lighting offered the best visibility and safety. Regardless of whether in the city or on a long tour through the countryside, the smooth-running four-stroke engines proved to be particularly powerful and efficient with reduced fuel consumption.
