DRT long-stroke Crankshafts for Vespa Smallframe - 45 mm racing and Full Circle Crankshafts for more displacement, torque and acceleration in the small class.
Denis Innocente from DRT Racing is primarily known for special gearbox and clutch parts, but has also specialized in Long Stroke Crankshafts for short-stroke smallframes. The racing and Full Circle Crankshafts use an eccentric bolt to extend the stroke from 43 to 45 mm. As a result, a 102 Cylinder grows to 107 cc, a 112 Cylinder to 117 cc - with significantly more torque, better acceleration and noticeably more pressure in all speed ranges. The engine characteristics are reminiscent of an original ET3 and remain very easy to ride in everyday use.
In technical terms, these are racing or Full Circle Crankshafts with 45 mm stroke, 87 mm Conrod, Ø 82 mm Lima cheek and Ø 87 mm rotary valve cheek, eccentric bolt, 19/20 mm shaft seal seat and 20 mm bearing seat. Depending on the version, versions with thin/sharp Cone and M10 thread or blunt/thick Cone with M12 thread are available, each including connecting rod bearing. All cylinders - with the exception of the D.R. 50-102 cc cylinders and the POLINI 115 cc - require a 1 mm foot gasket to compensate for the extra stroke. The result is a fine, stable tuning part for all those who want to stay under 125 cc and still get the maximum out of their smallframe engine.
