PIAGGIO

Piaggio is an Italian vehicle manufacturer with roots in 1884, which increasingly specialised in motorised two-wheelers from the middle of the 20th century. Today, Piaggio is one of the largest European manufacturers of scooters and motorbikes and unites several brands under its umbrella (including Aprilia, Gilera, Derbi and Moto Guzzi). In addition to the well-known Vespa, the pure Piaggio range includes various scooter series such as the compact Zip, the classic Liberty, the touring Beverly and the three-wheeled MP3. Production takes place partly in Italy, but also in other countries in order to be competitive worldwide. Piaggio attaches particular importance to innovative technology (for example in the drive and chassis) and an attractive design that reflects the Italian style. As a pioneer in the field of urban mobility, the company is also working on electric scooters and hybrid solutions.
