It doesn't always have to be a new Cylinder..

Once a Cylinder has covered a few thousand kilometers, it is essential to replace the Piston Rings or even the Piston in order to continue to ensure reasonable compression. We have the most important spare and wear parts for all common tuning and original cylinders in stock for you: i.e. Pistons, Piston Rings, Piston Pins, Gudgeon Pin Retaining Rings and Gasket Sets.

Many Lambretta pistons are available in two different compression heights: 39 mm and 30 mm.

With the exception of the TV 175, all Lambretta LI/SX/GP models have a crankshaft with a 107-mm Conrod. These require a piston with a 39 mm compression height.

The TV 175’s conrod is 116 mm long. Many aftermarket crankshafts use the same conrod length to make the engine run a bit more smoothly. The additional 9 mm in conrod length can be compensated for by using a piston with a 30 mm compression height.
