Crankshafts from JASIL/TOP RACING from Portugal - high-quality spare and tuning parts for various Engine setups.
The manufacturer JASIL produces high-quality spare and tuning parts in its own factory in Portugal. Many products are also known under the brand name TOP RACING. In recent years, JASIL has developed into a genuine port of call for quality, innovation and reliability.
Crankshafts from JASIL/TOP RACING are available in different versions. The standard shafts are suitable as replacement crankshafts in original equipment quality, while the Portuguese company's Racing Crankshafts are an interesting option for more demanding Engines.
The JASIL Standard crankshaft, made in Portugal, matches the PIAGGIO original in appearance, quality, and valve timing. It also features two lubrication slots in the lower Conrod and two lubrication holes at the Conrod eye. Ideal for slightly more demanding engines.
Originally, mushroom-head, solid-flange, and rotary-slide crankshafts were installed. The older models feature a brass bushing instead of a connecting rod bearing.
Model assignment was based on manufacturer specifications and PIAGGIO parts catalogs. We have listed all key dimensions to help you select the correct Shaft: Gudgeon Pin diameter, Crankshaft Pin diameter, Shaft length, and stroke. Please verify before installation that the dimensions of the original Shaft match those of the new one.
Conclusion: Perfect for an engine overhaul and sufficient for moderate tuning.
These products fit perfectly – SIP TIPS:
- New bearings, Oil Seals, and half-moon wedges are required. It’s also best to replace the Gasket Set as well as the Clutch and Pole Wheel nuts. The crankshaft tools, part nos. 27338000, 21071000, and 18119000,are also useful .
The valve timing values listed above were determined with the view toward the clutch side. Example: “138°/6° after TDC” means that the intake valve opens 6° after TDC and remains open for 138°.
Please note: Angle specifications are always approximate values, as the crankshafts are finished by hand.
