This Vespa 125, which is based on the GL chassis, is characterised by its return to the classic 125 cc displacement. It is also notable for being the last Vespa to roll on 8-inch wheels. Both wheels are fitted with self-ventilating cast-iron Drum Brakes. The design of the smaller mudguard and the side bonnets is new and angular. Both the edge trim on the Sign and the Decorative Trims on the bonnets are made of aluminium.
The redesigned Handlebar of the scooter is already prepared for the installation of a weather protection screen. The Headlight Unit, mounted on a sliding slider, allows for easy adjustment. The Speedometer has a fresh design with a white dial and a scale up to 100 km/h.
The frame number is discreetly located on the lower edge of the frame, directly below the luggage compartment cheek. In terms of lettering and Emblems, a dark blue, two-line cast aluminium "Vespa Super" lettering in traditional script adorns the Legshield, complemented by a rectangular Piaggio emblem above the Horn Cover. At the rear of the scooter, above the Rear Light, there is another "125 Super" Badge, also in dark blue cast aluminium. The leg guard is fitted with an aluminium Legshield Trim. The Glovebox in the side jaw is secured by a rectangular Lock. The scooter is fitted with a Single Saddle as standard, although a Seat can be selected as an alternative.
The Engine of this Model corresponds to that of the Vespa 125 VNB6, but has been optimised in terms of performance and equipped with a more advanced Carburettor. In addition, the integration of an external Ignition Coil helps to improve the ignition system.
