The SIP Silencer achieves a better damping effect than many other silencers on the market thanks to various design measures. The first and most important factor is the volume. Most silencers for classic Vespa and Lambretta Models are between 20cm and 26cm long and have a diameter of 70mm to 80mm. This Silencer has a length of 28cm and a diameter of 85mm. The outer shell has a thickness of 2.5mm, which also helps with sound absorption.

The second important factor is the insulating material used. Silent Pro Silencer Wool is used inside the silencer. A premium exhaust insulation material made from a special glass fiber mixture for retrofitting and maintaining silencers. Guarantees optimum sound insulation and heat insulation.

Thanks to the perforated pipe diameter of 26 mm, the Engine can still "breathe out" freely, so it neither loses power nor overheats.

The Perforated Pipe is vibration-damped and secured by an integrated O-Ring to ensure a tight fit and high durability. Thanks to the double logo position, the Silencer can be used with both right-hand and left-hand exhaust systems. With the 3-way fitting on a 54 mm bolt circle, the Silencer is compatible with many tuning and racing exhaust systems, e.g. PM.
