The OE stator plates on the oldest vintage Vespa models are already over seventy years old! Their magnetism fades, the isolation materials becomes brittle and connections loosen or fail completely, not to mention the ugly traces of well-intended amateur repairs.

As an ideal solution for the dedicated owners of these vintage models, following several years of intense development, we now have these stator plates reproduced in the finest quality available.

Our experiences gained working with our suppliers in this field flowed into the development and production of these replica stator plates. This lead to the more modern coils, found in the later wideframe models, being used for a more reliable ignition pulse – without the need for an additional external coil destroying the OE look. Additionally the later-produced points system, from the largeframe models, is also included as the OE items are rarer than stardust and these types are also easier to maintain.
