The advantages of the Malossi Gear Box Casing?

Malossi was also faced with the challenge of whether it was possible to improve the gearbox but still remain within the specified installation space without having to make further modifications to the vehicle.

With their die-cast aluminum Gear Box Casing, Malossi managed to stick to the installation space and still design a reinforced, well thought-out Gear Box Cover.

This is new

Ribs or webs have been inserted at strategic points to increase rigidity. The diameter of the wheel shaft bearing and other bearings has been increased and bearing seats have been reinforced to withstand forces at increased power.

In the Gear Box Casing itself, there are pressed Needle Bearings for the Gear Shafts, NBR Oil Seals with spring sealing lip and auxiliary lip as well as a sophisticated venting system for breathing the Gearbox Oil.

This has been optimized

In addition to the new features, there are of course also some smaller improvements to the Gear Box Casing. For example, the surfaces on the Brake Shoes guide have been cleanly machined and fitted with a special steel pin to ensure that the Brake Shoes run smoothly. The Cap, which is closed with five Screws instead of four, should seal well all round, even without a separate Gasket. Malossi nevertheless recommends the use of a sealing paste .

The gearbox is supplied complete with bearings, Oil Seals, Screws and Washers: everything needed for perfect assembly with Malossi gearboxes, but original gearboxes can also be used here.

Attention: The gearbox is without idle / bicycle gear
