Mudguard crests as a classic decorative element for the front Vespa mudguard—available in designs that are true to the original as well as custom styles.
Mudguard crests accentuate the streamlined look of the front mudguard. Many classic Vespa models, up to and including the PX/T5/PK/Cosa, were originally equipped with versions made of brushed aluminum. Later, PIAGGIO increasingly switched to colored plastic. To make selection easier during a restoration, the original model assignment is listed for each variant.
Mudguard Crests with the same hole spacing are interchangeable. Depending on the version, they are secured using a Securing Plate or a Bush.
In addition to faithful-to-the-original variants, there are also versions in chrome, carbon fiber, or polished aluminum. For a more eye-catching custom look, designs such as a jaguar or swan are also available. The combination with a color-matched Suspension Arm Cover looks particularly harmonious.
Installation takes just a few minutes.
Which color suits my scooter?
We have tried to avoid subjective designations of light gray, dark gray, etc. for the gray tones and to assign them to RAL Classic tones. RAL shades are international, can be found online or are best compared with a RAL Colour Chart, e.g. SIP Art. no. 98889900. But even there are different opinions as to which shade of gray best corresponds to which RAL shade. Nevertheless, we believe that this classification makes it easier to order rubbers of the same shade.
- Pebble, agate and silk gray rubbers look good on Vespas with original paint, as they come closer to the color of weathered rubber.
- Light gray rubbers work well on restored and newly painted scooters. (RAL gray tones see article download)
- Pale green corresponds to the ACMA color for newly painted models
- we have had moss gray produced especially for ACMA Patina Models to match the old paints and rubber shades
