Product description

Racing Cylinder with 400 cc for use on the 306 SIP-BFA Crankcase from EGIG Performance.

It can always be more extreme - at least if you ask EGIG Performance. The 306 cc of the SIP-BFA Engine already seemed like the end of the Flagpole in terms of displacement. This is already extraordinary for a single-cylinder engine in a classic scooter. However, with its 407 cc, the Zero-G from EGIG Performance goes one better.

  • 407 cc
  • 3-section exhaust
  • Forged piston

It's not just the displacement that is extreme. The layout of the transfer ports and the exhaust is also modern and designed for powerful power delivery.

Mounting

Even on the 306 SIP-BFA engine, 407 cc cannot be realized without adaptations. The Crankcase must be spindled to fit the larger cylinder base. The Cylinder's exhaust is inclined slightly downwards for better power delivery, which is why systems for the SIP-BFA 306 do not fit without modifications. Fitting the studs corresponds to the original dimensions of the SIP-BFA block, but requires some skill and a shortened wrench. However, the effort is rewarded with almost unlimited power reserves.

Technical data

  • Suitable for BFA-306 engine block and its Crankshaft with Conrod or the MMW Killercase for Lambretta
  • 90 mm bore
  • 64 mm stroke
  • 30° advance (reduced with increased stroke)
  • Timing 122° to 130°, adjustable by means of enclosed Spacers
  • Cylinder Head 10-fold bolted, crushing edge 1.3 mm
  • Exhaust width main exhaust 70 %
  • Total outlet width across all three segments 100 %
  • Manifold diameter 52 mm
  • Transfer port width at cylinder base 132 mm
  • Cylinder sleeve Ø 105 mm, 25 mm long
  • 90 mm Wössner piston specially designed for the Cylinder, 18 mm Gudgeon Pin
  • Running clearance 13/100
  • Decompression bore 4 mm

Conclusion: The Zero-G sets new standards in extreme tuning and, with 407 cc, a modern layout and enormous performance potential, offers an impressive upgrade for anyone who wants to get the most out of the SIP-BFA Engine.
