If you install a SIP Speedometer/Rev Counter and a SIP PERFORMANCE by VAPE Ignition, you can use the matching SIP PERFORMANCE Wiring Loom to connect almost all of the Speedometer and Ignition connections plug & play. No more searching for the right Wire - e.g. for the speedometer power supply.

The "Wiring Loom SIP PERFORMANCE for conversion to electric Ignition SIP PERFORMANCE by VAPE (AC)" is designed for Vespa P80-150X / PX80-200E / Lusso 1° / P200E and is intended for concepts without a Battery. The system works with 12V AC and is prepared for parking / high / low beam and Brake Light as well as 4-way Indicators. The design is also adapted for a 4-pin Ignition Lock and a 12V AC Horn (buzzer).
The AC variant is deliberately designed as an alternating current concept without a battery - a subsequent conversion to full DC is therefore not possible. In this case, please use the appropriate DC versions of the Wiring Loom.
For the PX models, the power supply for the speedometer black box is provided in the rear vehicle area under the spare wheel so that the speedometer peripherals can be neatly integrated there.

The protective hose for the areas running inside the chassis is deliberately designed with a larger diameter. This allows the Wiring Loom to be flattened to suit the space available when passing through the Frame below the Steering Head - this makes installation much easier.
Caution: Always handle the plugs for the SIP Speedometer/Rev Counter with extreme care and never pull in the Wiring Loom using these plugs or cables. The cables have a cross-section of only 0.5 mm and - like the plugs - are not designed to withstand high tensile forces.
The black ground cable to the Engine with 6 mm eyelet must be connected to the VAPE CDI - either directly to the CDI or to the Crankcase (depending on the CDI/ground setup). A separate ground cable is recommended.
Conclusion: The right plug & play solution for a tidy PX electrical system with SIP PERFORMANCE by VAPE (AC) - without a Battery and without searching for cables.
