Engine Swing Arm Pivot / Subframe MALOSSI Gorilla Arm for scooter - adjustable subframe with variable wheelbase and swingarm angle.
The Engine Swing Arm Pivot is the connection between the Frame and Engine. The length and angle of the Suspension Arm have a significant influence on the riding characteristics of the scooter. With the Gorilla Arm, MALOSSI is introducing an adjustable Suspension Arm that is otherwise more familiar from motorcycle racing.
Adjustable wheelbase from 74.0 to 99.5 mm
Variable swingarm angle of approx. 20°
Stiffened chassis connection with fixed engine pivot point
U-shaped housing structure for more space at the Exhaust
The patented MALOSSI Gorilla Arm comes directly from the race track and has already been used successfully in the MALOSSI Cup. The adjustable Engine Swing Arm Pivot allows individual adaptation to different operating conditions. At the same time, the chassis is stiffened, while the wheelbase and swingarm angle can be changed.
The variable wheelbase allows the swingarm length to be adjusted from 74.0 to 99.5 mm. The swing arm angle can be adjusted by approx. 20°. The fixed engine pivot point ensures a stable technical basis and precise chassis tuning.
The U-shaped housing structure opens up new possibilities for exhaust routing, as the Engine Stud is no longer in the way. At the same time, the Engine can be removed without having to dismantle the Exhaust.
