Overview BAFANG Max Drive M800 Engine

The BAFANG Max Drive M800 Engine is a particularly compact and lightweight mid-motor that has been specially developed for e-road bikes and sporty e-bikes. With a motor output of 200 watts, it is one of the less powerful models in the Bafang portfolio, but this makes it ideal for use in lightweight e-bikes that are designed more for sporty efficiency and less for extreme support. Despite the lower power output, the M800 offers a maximum torque of around 55 Newton metres, which is sufficient for smooth and consistent assistance on longer distances or slight climbs.

An outstanding feature of the M800 is its extremely low weight of only around 2.3 kilograms. This means that the overall weight of the e-bike is only minimally increased, which is particularly advantageous for sporty riders who prefer an agile and lightweight bike.
