REV'IT! - Well dressed: with and without a motorbike
Dutchman Ivan Vos was an importer of motorbike clothing in the early 1990s. He quickly came to the following conclusion: the clothes were cheap, with terrible design and workmanship. Or they were great designs, but in the high-price segment. In 1950, Ivan Vos decided to develop his own collection, driven by the idea of offering motorcyclists safe clothing in which they look good with or without a motorbike.
For five years, REV'IT! existed in the shadow of an import and distribution company before becoming a full-fledged company at the turn of the millennium under the name REV'IT! Sport International B.V., which is responsible for its own design, development and marketing.
REV'IT! - Innovations and Cooperations

In 2002, the company expanded to New York City in order to be able to serve the US and Canadian markets. Four years later, the new logo was placed on the products and since 2008 REV'IT! has been involved in motorbike racing. In 2015, REV'IT! rider Kenan Sofuoğlu became Supersport World Champion, in 2019 Danilo Petrucci won the Italian GP at Mugello and in the same year Lorenzo Dalla Porta took the World Championship title in the Moto3 class. The racing experience paid off: The protective clothing from REV'IT! has been continuously developed and improved.
In 2016, the company signed an official licensing agreement for clothing and gloves with Gore-Tex, and in 2020 the cooperation was extended to shoes. Yamaha and Ducati bring out collections with the addition "by REV'IT" and Husqvarna also relies on the expertise of the Dutch for their jackets, jeans, shoes and gloves.
Not only after REV'IT! proved in 2013 that textiles can be more resistant than leather, the design world also took notice of the company. They have already won the coveted Red Dot Award three times: in 2010 for the Jerez racing glove, in 2015 for the SEEFLEX protectors and in 2019 for boots from the H2O collection.
REV'IT! maintains its own test lab where materials, protectors and construction methods are developed. Since 2018, another lab has been mobile and the "Racing Technology Centre" is a permanent fixture in the MotoGP paddock. It is hardly surprising that the success story of REV'IT! 2020 reached its temporary climax with the move to a new headquarters.
REV'IT! at SIP Scootershop
We are also absolutely thrilled with the jackets, gloves, jeans and shoes from REV'IT! You can hardly see the protective functions of the clothing, it looks fashionable and light. But beneath the surface are cleverly integrated protectors with unrivalled strength against cuts, tears and abrasion. The shoes made of soft nubuck leather also look like "normal" sneakers, but offer the safety of motorbike boots. Toes, heels and ankles are extra protected and an insole reinforces the comfort. Once you've worn REV'IT! clothing and shoes, you won't want anything else.
