Vespa Tutorial: Assembly Malossi Multivar 2000
In this video, Basti shows you how to install a small but fine tuning part that is the heart of the drive on every automatic scooter: the variator. It determines not only the acceleration and power, but also the smoothness of the bike. In the Variator MALOSSI Multivar 2000 variator incorporates more than ten years of experience from the Italian tuning forge. By using different alloys for the individual components and optimally calculated roller slideways, the power loss of the variator can be reduced by up to 30 %. A must-have for all pilots of 2- and 4-stroke scooters.
The installation of the variator step by step
To make sure you know exactly what Basti is doing in the video, we have provided each step of the assembly with a timecode and a description. We estimate the installation to take about 45 minutes and consider it suitable for beginners. Good luck with the installation and have fun with the variator.
