Custom Creations: Vespa Smallframe Tuning
Our "Custom Creations" series continues with creative minds and their customised scooters. In this episode, Jesco once again welcomes a guest from Austria to the SIP Open Day: Nico Pendl from the 1st Vespa Club Wolfsberg. And he has rebuilt his Smallframe in such a way that no screw has been left unturned.

10 hp in five years
More or less, the whole story revolves around a 250 cc Cylinder and Exhaust prototype from our favourite series manufacturer EGIG Performance from South Tyrol, Italy. Nico has been milling and tinkering with this combination for five years now. According to his own statement, he has gradually added 10 hp in this way. If you want to know more about timing, Lectron Carburettors, a supercharged Engine and a very innovative nitrous oxide injection system, you should definitely watch the video.
We would like to thank Nico and hope that he can somehow find another 10 hp in the next five years. Maybe he just needs a longer Exhaust? We wish him every success and all the best!
