The V2 tuning chip from VOLSpeed in a set with Puller for e-bikes with Generation 4 BOSCH drives with Smart System (BES3).

The Tuning Chip V2 with Puller is compatible with all BOSCH drive systems that use the Smart System (BES3) and whose motor support ends at 25 km/h ex works. This does not apply to e-bikes equipped with a rim magnet or ABS, as these are not supported by the tuning. The Smart System is most easily recognized by the Intuvia 100, Kiox 300 or Kiox 500 or by the LED Remote, Purion 200 or the System Controller.

Tuning Chip E-Bike V2 with Puller for E-Bikes with BOSCH Engines (BES3)

The speed limit of 25 km/h can be removed. The maximum speed can be flexibly adjusted between 25 km/h and 45 km/h. The setting is made using the plus and minus buttons, whereby the last set value is saved. Please note that the maximum speed should not be set higher than 35 km/h to avoid activating the Bosch anti-tuning software.

The Tuning Chip E-Bike V2 can be switched on and off at any time using the control buttons on the E-Bike. After switching on the e-bike, tuning is initially deactivated. Depending on the control unit and Display, the buttons are used to adjust the support level, for example the plus and minus buttons in the minus-plus-minus-plus sequence. After activation, the set speed limit is displayed for five seconds.

In the optional dynamic mode, a smoother control behavior can be set. This means that the motor assistance does not stop abruptly when the set maximum speed is reached, which reduces the "wall effect" and makes for a more pleasant ride.

For e-bikes without a Display, the module settings can also be displayed via the Bosch Flow App. However, software updates should not be carried out using the App.

Plug & Ride

The module is ready for use immediately after installation, no complex calibration is required. The VOLspeed V2 module does not require its own battery. An individual code can be set to activate the tuning via the control buttons on the e-bike.

Attention: When tuning is activated, a lower speed is displayed from a speed of 21 km/h and a shorter distance is measured. This means that the mileage is too low after using the tuning.

Installation

The VOLspeed V2 is a module that is connected to the E-Bike Engine. The Engine Cover must be temporarily removed for installation. After installation, the module is not visible from the outside. Wire damage or modification is not required. As soon as the module is connected, it is immediately ready for operation and there is no need for time-consuming calibration. The module's electronics are safely encapsulated in the Casing and therefore well protected against moisture.

Dismantling

Thanks to the plug-in connections, dismantling is basically just as easy as installation. There should be no visible damage to the e-bike or pedelec.
