A variety of MAZZUCCHELLI crankshafts for every need.
The crankshaft is one of the most heavily loaded engine components. It rotates thousands of times per minute, and the performance of an engine stands or falls on its quality. Minimal manufacturing tolerances, high rotational stability, minimal bearing play, and maximum durability of the Shaft are essential prerequisites for optimal engine tuning. With MAZZUCCHELLI, we offer exclusively Italian-made Crankshafts that impress with their uncompromising quality.
- Available as standard, racing, or Full Circle Crankshafts
- Each with Ø 10 mm or Ø 12 mm Gudgeon Pins
- Includes Gudgeon Pin Bearing
MAZZUCCHELLI standard crankshafts have a stroke of 43 mm and are suitable for engines under normal loads up to 50-cc Racing Cylinders. If you’re looking for a bit more power, you should opt for the Racing Crankshafts. Not only are these more precisely balanced, but they also have slightly longer intake valve timing, providing a solid foundation for tuned engines ranging from 50 to 70 cc.
For high-end tuning, MAZZUCCHELLI offers so-called Full Circle Crankshafts. These increase the filling ratio and pre-compression. Especially when combined with an extended stroke, e.g., 44 mm or 46 mm, this delivers more torque and significantly boosts power.
When using a Full Circle Crankshaft, a diaphragm intake is absolutely necessary. The shafts are categorized based on the type of crankcase. The Full Circle Crankshafts for MALOSSI/POLINI casings differ in flange diameter from those for SIMONINI crankcases.
Conclusion: Affordable yet high-quality crankshafts for every situation.
To go with the new Crankshaft, we recommend—the SIP TIP:
- Don’t forget new crankshaft bearings. The Bearing Set—or even the complete Engine Revision Kit—is the perfect choice
- For shafts with an extended stroke, corresponding Cylinder Head and/or cylinder base spacersare required
- The gasket for the engine block halves should definitely be replaced. Better yet, get the complete SIP engine gasket set
