Product description

The SpeedBox 1.2, for SHIMANO E8000, E7000, E6100 and E5000 drives, is a revised tuning chip with a new design and completely modified hardware and firmware.

After installing the SpeedBox 1.2 tuning module, correct values up to 23 km/h are displayed on the e-bike display. The tuning module is only suitable for e-bikes without Di2 (electronic gear shift).

Starting with the SpeedBox 1.2

If the lights on the e-bike are not switched on, the SpeedBox 1.2 for Shimano is always active. You can ride at unlimited speed. As soon as the LIGHT button is pressed, the SpeedBox 1.2 deactivates. If the red plug is not connected during installation, the module works independently of the light and is always activated. If the e-bike has no lights at all, the SpeedBox 1.2 is also always active.

Attention: The SpeedBox 1.2 is not compatible with the SpeedBox app.

Assembly and dismantling

Only original connectors are used so that installation remains as simple as possible and all connections are correct. Removing the module is just as easy as installing it. You will find helpful videos, graphics and texts on installing the tuning module under this product description.

Note: If the tuning module is installed on a brand new e-bike, you should have ridden the bike at least one kilometre beforehand.

It is recommended not to update the software of the e-bike. This may affect the function of the Speedbox.
