Why not an airplane right away? It’s a dream of many hobbyists and tuners to transplant the cylinder from a modern motorcycle or snowmobile into the engine of a classic scooter. Cylinders originally designed for ultralight aircraft are particularly well-suited for such conversions.

SIMONINI offers engines with compact, air-cooled cylinders. Not only does the fact that these cylinders originate from the aviation industry sound spectacular, but they also perform exceptionally well. Power outputs of 50–60 PS have already been achieved with them. Of course, extensive modifications are required to reach such power levels. However, even in its stock condition, such a cylinder can be used to build a 30-PS engine that performs well for everyday driving.
