The last “old PX” models and the first Lusso models used what is known as a “hybrid” Steering Column. It features the steering lock mount and the head tube diameter of the previous Steering Column, but was already shipped with a 20 mm axle diameter.

Owners of 1983 models should therefore check carefully which Steering Column is installed before ordering. Either measure it directly on the vehicle or compare the chassis number in the online store.

All steering columns are shipped without a Steering Head Bearing Set. The appropriate tool for removing the Bearing Shells can be found in the tools section.
