The newly developed tuning module SpeedBox B.Tuning 3.0 for BROSE creates a unique connection between e-bikes and smartphones. Optimized down to the smallest detail, it deactivates the speed limit of the pedelec and thus allows you unlimited speed. Thanks to the SpeedBox app, you can check, record and track all riding parameters on your smartphone's display - no matter where and when.

Setting of the tuning module SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning for BROSE Drive T/ Drive S/ Drive S Mag/SPECIALIZED
To activate the SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning, press the Walk function on the e-bike controller. After activating, the display will briefly show 9.9 km/h. Then you can ride at unlimited speeds like 40, 50 and even more than 60 km/h. To deactivate the tuning function, activate the WALK function again. This will cause the display to show 2.5 km/h and the speed limit of 25 km/h is reactivated. Your pedelec will then function as it did before the SpeedBox was installed.
If your e-bike does not have a classic control panel with walk function, then use the key combination + - + - instead to activate and deactivate the SpeedBox.
To change the top speed, first switch the mode three levels down and then three levels up again. In this order: TURBO - TRAIL - ECO - OFF - ECO - TRAIL - TURBO. The resulting speed is displayed. Alternatively, you can use the WALK function or turn the rear wheel 360 °. 1.5 km/h corresponds to a maximum speed of 15 km/h, 2.0 corresponds to a maximum speed of 20 km/h and so on until 9.9 km/h, which corresponds to a maximum speed of 99 km/h. The last value displayed is saved after five seconds of inactivity.
The Tuning Module and the SpeedBox App
The app specially developed for SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning uses Bluetooth to connect the e-bike to your smartphone. After downloading the app and connecting the smartphone to the e-bike, you will see the current data and other values on your phone. You can save trips, match them with friends and track your own progress. This way you can enjoy the ride to the fullest and look at all the data later at your leisure.

Assembly and disassembly
To connect the SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning for BROSE to an e-bike, use the color plugs equipped with a key for the correct connection, so installing the chip is really easy. After the battery is removed, the connections on the engine are exposed. Remove all connections from the engine to the sensor and to the display, then close the SpeedBox 3.0 for BROSE in between. Just follow the colors and nothing can go wrong.
Note: If the tuning module is installed on a brand-new E-Bike, you should have ridden the bike at least one kilometer before.
It is recommended not to update the software of the e-bike. This may affect the function of the Speedbox.
