The new SpeedBox 3.0 tuning chip deactivates the speed limiter, displays real values and is compatible with Bosch Active Line, Active Line Plus, Performance Line and Performance Line CX Line incl. 4th generation motors.
With the SpeedBox 3.0 tuning module, you can freely adjust the speed limiter of the e-bike. After installing the chip, the e-bike display shows correct data such as maximum speed, average speed, daily distance and range.

Starting with the SpeedBox B.Tuning 3.0
The tuning module can be activated via the display. If the WALK button is pressed, the display briefly shows "9.9 km/h". Now speeds of up to 99 km/h are available. If the WALK button is pressed again, the display returns to "2.5 km/h", i.e. the speed limit of 25 km/h is activated. If the e-bike does not have a WALK button, the button combination "+-+-" is used. The speed box is then also activated and is also switched off again in this way.
Setting the maximum speed
Select a mode: Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco - Tour - EMTB - Turbo. The current speed limit is displayed in each case. To change it, briefly press the WALK button or turn the rear wheel 360 degrees. The display of "1.5 km/h" corresponds to a maximum speed of 15 km/h, "2.5 km/h" stands for 25 km/h and so on. The last limit displayed is saved after five seconds.
IMPORTANT: If you are riding with Bosch 4th generation motors (from 2020), the e-bike must remain switched on after the ride. After a few minutes, a countdown from 10 to 0 starts and then the display and tuning chip switch off automatically. This countdown must be waited for in order to prevent a "504" error message. Assembly and disassembly
The colour-coded plug connections make assembly relatively easy. After you have gained access to the motor, simply disconnect the existing connections and insert the tuning module in between. It is just as easy to remove the module and restore it to its original condition. We have linked several videos below this product description that explain the installation very clearly.
Note: If the tuning module is installed on a brand new e-bike, you should have ridden the bike for at least one kilometre beforehand.
It is recommended not to update the software of the e-bike. This may affect the function of the Speedbox.
