SIP Speed Sensors can be used on all Vespas that have a Vespa GTS, PX, or PK Steering Column installed—whether as an original part, a retrofit, or a conversion Steering Column. Broken Speedometer Cables, cables that are too long or too short, and fiddly adjustments are now a thing of the past. Installation is simple via plug-and-play and can be easily done by yourself.

Whether you have drum or Disc Brakes, there’s a suitable sensor solution for every application. The speed sensor is mounted on the Steering Column or Suspension Arm in place of the Speedometer Cable and picks up the signal from the Speedometer Drive Gear. The included wire is connected to the Sensor via a waterproof connection, is routed through the Steering Column, and is connected to the Rev Counter. This ensures very precise signal detection that is unaffected by speed cable breaks.
