Optics - love in the detail

The SIP kickstarter is very close to the original. Only the material appearance and the surface finish are of a higher quality. There is no longer a "seam" on the side, but a raised SIP logo is discreetly applied in front of the screw connection.

Quality - in the finish

For each type of kickstarter, a new mould has been created with which the SIP kickstarters are forged. The teeth are precisely cut with a specially manufactured tool. The kickstarter screw sockets are made exactly for the original screws with flat, bevelled heads in M8 or M9. However, the hexagonal kick starter screws of the later models can also be used if they are slightly flattened on the side. The matching kickstarter rubbers are included.

Conclusion: Discreet, classic and still an eye-catcher. The SIP kickstarter is the icing on the cake for the right start.

The best setup - our SIP TIP:

• When overhauling the engine, also replace the stop rubbers.
• Worn gears also have no place in a freshly overhauled engine.
• A return spring in good condition ensures that the kick starter sits tightly in place.
