Sidepanels suitable for vintage Lambretta models.

The sidepanels on Lambretta scooters are a central element in their overall design. Noticeably longer and slimmer than the competition from Pontedera, providing a sleek, more sporting appearance. Following a couple of years use, their sidepanels only really fit the scooter with which they left the factory. Over their service life, the environmental influences and mechanical torsion and stress to which they are inevitably both exposed, lead to the frame and sidepanels customising themselves to a unique shape and fit matching each other perfectly. As a result, the sidepanels taken from another Lambretta are not an automatic fit when mounted as replacements.

We have a large choice of different Lambretta sidepanels available. Although these replacements are perfectly dimensioned, the 'Frameloop' attachment edges on the frame should also be in perfect shape. If the frame creases along both sides of the scooter are damaged or dented they will require repair.
