Additional shock absorbers for a new riding experience
The suspension of the PIAGGIO Ciao models should not really be called suspension, only a rigid fork without any suspension is even less comfortable. If you want to freshen up your front suspension and want a bit more riding comfort, you can't get around the shock absorber kit from IMCA.
What are the advantages of the additional shock absorbers?
Improved riding experience
Simple conversion
Incl. brackets
With the additional shock absorbers, you can give your Ciao a great chassis upgrade with a much improved riding experience. The stability of the front wheel is increased, vibrations are better compensated and the front wheel is prevented from rocking when cornering or braking.
The conversion is relatively uncomplicated, the only requirement is that you have the fork with the upper threads on the inner fork bar. Then you can first mount the brackets on the top with the shock absorbers and only the brackets on the wheel axle on the bottom. After fitting the front wheel, the shock absorbers can then be fixed at the bottom - the conversion is finished. The shock absorber kit consists not only of the shock absorber pair, but also of the required brackets for top and bottom.
Conclusion: Great chassis upgrade for improved handling.
We recommend - the SIP-TIP:
In the course of removing the front wheel, we recommend checking the axle including bearings and replacing them if necessary.
If the suspension is still not sufficient, you should also use new or reinforced springs for the axle mount.
The conversion kit for the front wheel axle provides the finishing touches.
