• Tuning is activated or deactivated by pressing the light button or the + and - buttons. If the display shows 9.9 (or 9) it is active, at 2.5 (or 2) km/h it is inactive.
• The chip can be completely deactivated by pressing a specific control key. It is therefore no longer possible to see that a module has been installed. Only after a certain period of time can the tuning be switched on again by another combination.

Mounting the tuning module MSO 4.0 for SACHS

The module is connected between the magnetic speed sensor and the engine. It is also connected between the display and the engine. The cover of the engine must be removed during installation. Then all cable connections are exposed. An instruction manual can be found in the downloads.

Note: With new SACHS e-bikes, you should have ridden about one kilometre before installing the tuning module. If you have been riding faster than 25 km/h for a while, it is possible that some values will no longer be displayed correctly. If you ride below 25 km/h for a while, the data will be correct again. The e-bike should not be switched off immediately after riding. It is recommended to wait until the e-bike switches itself off or to switch it off manually when 0.0 km/h is shown on the display.
