Checking the oil level in PIAGGIO Engines is similar to checking the oil level in a car. Let the Engine stand until the Oil has settled, remove the dipstick and clean it off, reinsert the dipstick and remove it again. The PIAGGIO iGet Engine's Oil Dipstick is particularly difficult to access. The solution: an Oil Pan with integrated Oil Gauge Glass from Buchsenfuchs.

Similar to motorcycles, the Buchsenfuchs Oil Pan has an integrated Oil Gauge Glass. This allows the oil level to be checked quickly, easily and at any time without the hassle of handling an Oil Dipstick and cloth. The original PIAGGIO Oil Pan is used as the basis, CNC machined and fitted with the Oil Gauge Glass.

As the Oil Pan is partially covered by the Vario Cover on the iGet Engine, we also supply the matching Vario Cover with the Oil Pan. This has also been CNC machined to ensure a clear view of the Oil Gauge Glass.

The scope of delivery also includes a new gasket for the Oil Pan, as this should also be replaced.

Note: To be able to read the oil level correctly, the vehicle must be standing straight on level ground. Even a small misalignment can make the difference between MIN and MAX.
