Product description

Light switch conversion with turn-signal function, compatible with 12V DUCATI / PARMAKIT / VESPATRONIC / MALOSSI / POLINI electronic ignition upgrade kits. Includes main/dipped beam switch. The wire colours correspond to those found on the SIP wiring loom (# 86135282 / # 86135263)

 

Wire colouring :

  • Black : Earth in steering assembly / Headlight
  • Red: Ignition / Kill switch: green: lighting current12V
  • Yellow: Parking light front / rearlight
  • Brown: low beam, violet: high beam
  • White: Horn
  • Orange: Indicator relay
  • rosa: Indicator right
  • Blue: Indicator left

SIP-TIP: Do not forget to order a suitable 'shutter' brake switch. All components are 12V rated.

Sehr ordentlicher Eindruck

Der Schalter bedient folgende Funktionen: Blinkerschalter, Umschalter (Fern-/Abblendlicht), Kurzschließer (Zündung) und Hupentaster (Schließer). Er macht einen sehr ordentlichen Eindruck, auch die Abdeckung fühlt sich robust aus und passt recht stramm in die vorgesehene Vertiefung im Lenker (hier vllt. noch etwas nacharbeiten, damit die Kappe ohne Spannung sitzt - ich empfinde das aber keinesfalls als Nachteil!). Beim Licht bieten sich 2 Verschaltungsmöglichkeiten: 1. Betrieb mit Originalscheinwerfer (1 Birne 12V 15 W) - hierbei dient der Fern/Abblendlicht-Umschalter als Licht ein-aus-Schalter. 2. Betrieb mit Conversion-Scheinwerfer (Birne: 12V 25/25W). Der Umschalter schaltet zwischen Fern- und Abblendlicht. Eine Funktion "Licht aus" ist dann nicht gegeben. Das fahren mit Tagfahrlicht wird ohnehin verkehrsicherheitstechnich empfohlen.
