A redesign of the BUZZETTI 1980s classic. Finally available again thanks to SIP PERFORMANCE’s reissue.

The more power the Engine has—or the weaker your leg muscles are—the more of a workout starting that good old Vespa becomes. Anyone who doesn’t have an electric starter or doesn’t want to retrofit one dreams of the good old BUZZETTI days, when there were still foldable Kickstart Levers. We’ve had that dream time and again, too. Since BUZZETTI scrapped the mold for these Kickstart Levers, it was time for SIP PERFORMANCE to take action.

We have redesigned this 80s Kickstart Lever classic. The shape and position of the Lever have been adjusted, and the sporty look is very much based on the original. The forged aluminum is available in black or red powder-coated or aluminum-polished and red. The kickstarter lever itself is a black cast steel component fitted with an original Kickstart Lever Rubber. Thanks to the folding mechanism, the lever can be easily folded inward.

Thanks to its gear teeth, this folding Kickstart Lever fits perfectly on all PX/Cosa engines. Unfortunately, the Kickstart Lever does not fit on BFA 306cc crankcases, as it interferes with the lower fan blade screw there.

Conclusion: Thanks to the extended kickstarter arm, even high-performance engines can be kicked-started without straining your calf.
