Wind Shields and Flyscreens for scooters offer protection from wind and weather and, depending on the design, also improve comfort and aerodynamics.

For many people, the wind is part of the special appeal of riding a scooter. However, if you are often out and about in bad weather, you should not do without a Wind Shield or Flyscreen. Depending on the height, these effectively protect the body and clothing from the wind and weather and often improve aerodynamics at the same time. The range includes Flyscreens and Wind Shields from FACO, ERMAX, SIP STYLE, PIAGGIO, MALOSSI, CUPPINI, SLUK and ISOTTA. The washers are usually made of 4 mm thick, scratch and impact-resistant acrylic glass.

They are generally easy to fit to the Holders already provided in the lower section of the Handlebar. Wind Shields and Flyscreens can therefore be fitted quickly and, depending on the version, offer a practical solution for more protection and riding comfort in everyday life.

A half-height Wind Shield up to approximately 420 mm effectively blocks wind and rain from the body. Depending on the Model, wider versions are also available—for example, from ISOTTA or PIAGGIO—which additionally protect the hands from the elements. Another advantage is improved aerodynamics. This helps reduce wind noise and turbulence around the head. Depending on the vehicle and windshield, top speed may also increase slightly.

A tall Wind Shield, starting at a height of approximately 530 mm, provides particularly good protection for the body against cold, dirt, and splashing water. The wide design also protects the hands from the elements. These Washers are ideal for the cold season, as they largely keep the oncoming wind away from the rider and direct it over the Helmet. This results in a significantly more comfortable riding experience, even at higher speeds.

We measure all Wind Shields and Flyscreens from the top edge of the Headlight Unit to the top edge of the Shield. All Wind Shields and Flyscreens are shipped with Mounting Material. Information regarding type approval or ABE can be found directly with the respective product.
