Depending on how long the Indicator button is held down, different modes can be activated. A short press causes the m.relay+ to flash three times and then automatically turn off—ideal for changing lanes. When pressed briefly, it flashes ten times and also stops automatically. If the button is held down longer, the Indicator remains active continuously and is turned off again by pressing the button once more. If both buttons are pressed simultaneously, the m.relay+ activates the hazard light function.
Relays operate entirely on digital semiconductor technology and are controlled by a microprocessor. They contain no mechanical parts, coils, or contacts. As a result, the flashing frequency remains constant and accurate, regardless of whether LED indicators, micro indicators, halogen indicators, 10-watt, or 21-watt bulbs are used. Setups with four indicators or two handlebar-end indicators are also possible.
The small, lightweight aluminum housing is black anodized and features a practical M3 mounting thread. Alternatively, a “flying” mount using Cable Ties is also possible. The electronics are fully encapsulated, waterproof, vibration-resistant, short-circuit-proof, and equipped with automatic overload protection.
