The GRIMECA Classic NT Disc Brake is the proven classic in original equipment quality among the brake systems for Vespa Gear Pulley scooters. Many brake concepts are based on it, which is why there is a large selection of accessories, tuning and spare parts. Fit, quality and reliability are correspondingly high. The GRIMECA NT Disc Brake is semi-hydraulic: The Brake Master Cylinder, which is attached to the Steering Column, is actuated via a brake cable. Installation is simple.
One for all
The GRIMECA NT Disc Brake is available for PX/T5 Models with 16 mm and 20 mm axle diameters. For Vespa PK Models, the Shock Absorber Seating must be minimally reworked, as the PK models have a different hole spacing on the shock absorber mounting. With a PK conversion fork, Vespa 125 VNA-TS and 150 VBA-Super and Rally Models can also benefit from the Disc Brake.
Original look as it has been since the 50s
With the GRIMECA NT "Classic Look", it is possible for the first time to ride a Disc Brake whose Brake Drum retains the original look of the drum brake models. No "star" and no "Spokes" spoil the look. SIP also has this version of the Brake Drum manufactured directly by GRIMECA. Not only have the Spokes of the earlier version been removed, but care has also been taken to ensure that the cooling fins have the same radius as the standard brake drum that has been used since the 1950s.
Deceleration in original equipment quality
The Disc Brake of the Vespa PX '98 is also produced by GRIMECA. Brake Disc and Brake Pads are identical to the GRIMECA NT - accordingly, a very good braking effect is also given here. The star-shaped Brake Drum gives the PX '98/MY/'11 Models the typical look and also allows the use of a Chain Lock.
Spoilt for choice
The original Brake Drum of the GRIMECA Replacement Parts Disc Brake has a net or spoke pattern. Disc brake kits with this drum are available in various designs: discreet in silver, sporty in black or particularly elegant in black with a silver mesh pattern.

Note: The disc brake kits are already filled and bled. However, air can still get into the system during transportation. It is therefore recommended that you also order Brake Fluid and bleed the brakes after installation.
