CDI Ignition Unit from LML for electronic ignitions

Designed by PIAGGIO, now produced by LML - replaces the original CDI and supports optimized combustion on Vespa PX/T5 and other electronic ignitions.

Ignition is often an underestimated component when putting together an Engine setup. The CDI Ignition Unit (Condensator-Discharge-Ignition) was developed by PIAGGIO and is now produced by LML. As an uncomplicated replacement for the original unit, it can improve combustion and thus support a more effective power output.

The LML CDI generates a higher ignition voltage than the original unit and therefore provides a powerful ignition spark even at low engine speeds. According to the specifications, 95 ignitions are achieved at 100 revolutions instead of 90 - this can result in better power delivery and lower consumption. The Electronic Unit and Ignition Coil are simply fitted in place of the original parts and connected to the wires of the Stator Plate.

Conclusion: Inexpensive but effective component for optimizing combustion.
