The hydraulic brake hose produced by the German firm SPIEGLER/ABM, is delivered pre-assembled for simple and rapid attachment to your scooter. The connections, or 'Banjos', are produced using a tough aluminium alloy and are fully rotatable to ensure that a completely tension free routing and mounting of the hoses is possible, every time. To prevent any damage to your paintwork the steel braided hoses are sheathed in a protective vinyl covering and they are available in various colours and lengths.

Even though the Vespa GTS/GTS Super/Super Sport/GTV/GT 60/GT/GT L models come factory equipped with steel braided hoses, the items produced by SPIEGLER/ABM do not only provide an optical upgrade but also one of quality. We also recommend that the Vespa LX/LXV/s models receive this upgrade as a matter of course, split hoses etc. become a thing of the past.

The combination of steel braiding and a PTFE lining provides a clean and noticeable braking point with the braking fluid remaining free of water contamination. In addition the hydraulic system is protected from expansion damage. Porous or bulging hydraulic tubing is therefore impossible. Their resistance to varying temperatures is also improved in comparison to the original system.

SIP–TIP : Do not forget to order a Banjo bolt and fresh hydraulic brake fluid!

The sheathing and the connecting rubbers included with the original brake hose should be transferred to the replacement item.
