Overview

Following the merger of SEGWAY and NINEBOT, the company focussed increasingly on environmentally conscious e-mobility solutions. It is also researching technologies such as voice interaction and facial recognition in relation to robotics. The E-Scooters from SEGWAY-NINEBOT are a prime example of this innovative and forward-looking corporate concept.

Dean Kamen, the inventor, realised that our world was mainly designed for people who can keep their balance. Together with a team, he developed the "Independence IBOT™ Mobility System", a self-balancing wheelchair that made it possible to move on irregular surfaces and even climb stairs. This was the birth of Segway.

On the other side was Ninebot, a Beijing-based company dedicated to the development of electric mobility. in 2015, the strengths of both companies came together. Today, SEGWAY-NINEBOT focuses on robotics that interact with smartphones. At the same time, the E-Scooter portfolio is constantly being expanded. With the launch of the SEGWAY-NINEBOT Max G30, an E-Scooter with an impressive range and affordable price, the company has established itself as a major player in the E-Scooter segment.
