In 1989, the predecessor of CF MOTO was founded under the name Er Shu. The company focussed on the production of motorbike parts, especially for the Japanese market. Through constant development, the first liquid-cooled Engine was introduced in 1996, a single-cylinder four-stroke engine with 125 cc. In 2000, the company was renamed CF MOTO and the group obtained a licence for the production of motorbikes, allowing the company to expand into many areas of motorbike vehicles.
