18. Vespa Twist

The Vespa Twist is back for its 18th edition!

On 22 August, it’s that time of year again, and for the Stout’n’Rollers, it’s the biggest event of the year. They’re organising their little festival, the Vespa Twist, for the 18th time. As tradition dictates, there’ll be a warm-up on Friday with DJs at the Red John Pub in Solothurn, before the gates to the hallowed Kofmehl grounds open on Saturday.

In the afternoon, the festivities kick off with a flea market where all sorts of cult items, clothes, plates and much more are up for sale. Food and drink will of course be available, and the first DJs will set the mood for the opening ceremony with some great tunes.

The engines will be started, followed by a tribute to the warm sound of the scooters and the little bit of freedom that riding one brings to its riders.

On their return, there’ll be a drinks reception for the scooter riders, and a cosy summer afternoon can draw to a close in a friendly atmosphere to the sound of recorded music.

In the evening, the doors to the hallowed halls of the Kofmehl will open. Four guest DJs, the Stout’n’Rollers DJ Team and three bands will whip the crowd into a frenzy with their 60s sound across various dance floors.
