Deus ex Machina (God from the Machine) roared into Australia's cultural consciousness in 2006 with some neatly rebuilt bikes and the curious notion that it's more fun to do something than just own something. Deus ex Machina is bigger than a brand: it's a culture.
Deus ("Day-us") didn't just want to sell custom parts and hand-built motorbikes, but celebrate a culture of creativity. The Deus ex Machina showroom/café/headquarters in Sydney immediately became a temple of creativity.
The Deus philosophy brings together the various forms of urban fun - motorcycling, Vespa, surfing, skateboarding, you name it. All are welcome under the Deus roof, where there is simply respect for creativity and the fun of tinkering.
Since DEUS opened the doors of the Camperdown temple in Australia in 2006, the spirit has spread around the globe. The label now has locations in Sydney, Bali, Los Angeles and Milan, and the way forward is one down, two, three or four up. We carry a wide range of DEUS clothing for you: caps, beanies, t-shirts, hoodies and jumpers.
