Kick it like SIP!

PREMIERE! To kick off the 2024 #EM season, SIP is taking part in this year's AH charity football tournament in Hurlach. Participation was organised entirely by the SIP trainees themselves as part of their project work. But Sebastian (17) can tell you even more about it:

"My name is Sebastian and I started an apprenticeship at SIP Scootershop last September together with two other apprentices. I started in warehouse logistics, specifically in the incoming goods department. An important part of our training is that all apprentices across all departments propose charitable projects in the areas of social commitment, environmental protection or sustainability and organise them together on their own initiative.

Together with two colleagues from the second year of training, we decided to take part in this year's 9th AH-Benefiz football tournament, which is jointly organised every year by SV Hurlach, the 'Friends and Supporters of Regens Wagner Holzhausen' association and Regens Wagner Holzhausen. At this inclusive tournament, teams from companies such as SIP, #Rational, #Hilti as well as football clubs and amateur teams, including our vocational school teachers, compete against each other. The idea of inclusion is taken into account by the fact that two footballers from the adult teams at Regens Wagner Holzhausen play in each team. These are allocated to the teams by drawing lots before the tournament begins.

We have all worked hard to make this tournament a complete success: Marc, a 1st-year wholesale and foreign trade apprentice, has taken on the entire project coordination. Team captain Tizian, a warehouse logistics specialist, also in his first year of training, put the team together and let us practise on the table football. Elvis, a technical product designer in his 2nd year of training, is in charge of stylish jerseys and Marcel, a warehouse logistics specialist, also in his 2nd year of training, takes care of all the logistics surrounding the event.

I support SIP's social media agency in writing online posts and reports. We cordially invite you to come by. Share the hashtag #inklusivkicken and support the team spirit, respect and inclusion of all participants! We promise it will be exciting and very entertaining!

Admission is free and food and drink will of course be provided.

So come along and cheer on the teams!"
