The input shaft is also called the countershaft or Shaft. Together with the gear set and the Primary Driven Gear, it forms the countershaft assembly, which some people also refer to as the “Christmas tree.” The gear set is the “smaller” half of the secondary gear ratio. Depending on the model, the length and diameter of the bearing seat and Bushes on the Input Shaft vary, while the number of teeth on the respective Drive Sprockets in the gear set differs.
