VESPATRONIC Ignition for classic Vespa Models brings the advantages of variable ignition curves to original cylinders. Developed as an oldie series by VESPATRONIC for an uncomplicated changeover to electronic Ignition.
The biggest advantage lies in the simple conversion: the elimination of the breaker-based system makes the Ignition significantly less maintenance-intensive. In addition, the speed-dependent adjustment of the ignition timing offers noticeable advantages when driving: more pressure in the lower speed range and Radiator combustion - suitable for many cylinder types, even in standard condition. The gain is particularly clear for vehicles with an original 6V lighting system: VESPATRONIC provides more and more stable Light.
Ignition VESPATRONIC
Flywheel 1400-1850 g depending on version (light Flywheel for tuned Engines, heavy Flywheel for original Engines). Complete set including Stator Plate, Ignition Coil, Voltage Regulator, Tool and, depending on version, Fan.
Conclusion: Best power supply, increased torque in the lower speed range and more stability in the upper range - a real enrichment for original engines!
SIP-TIP:
For vehicles with an original 6V lighting system, be sure to change the bulbs to 12V and order a suitable conversion wiring harness.

Installation tips from Tino Sacchi, Lambretta guru and Vespatronic pope, Milan - Italy 2008:
- An incorrect Connection can lead to defects in the CDI, so stick to the wiring diagram. The ground cable is very important.
- Do not modify the HT unit and avoid mounting it in a way that transmits vibrations
- The Nut Flywheel must be fitted with the original Lock Washer, a loose Nut and a missing Washer will damage the Shaft or the Flywheel.
- The crankshaft bearings should be new and the Spark Plug and Spark Plug Resistor Cap should be of good quality.
- running in newly rebuilt Engines
- At higher speeds, secure the Screws of the Fan with Loctite.
- All components are checked for function before delivery.
